Hackday London

It’s official, I’m on the list, I’ve activated my account, Created a profile and on the website, next weekend will be the geekiest two days of my life, next to that evening with David Crane in the brain, that’s right, I’m going to Hack Day London.

2 days of seminars, endless beer and pizza, wifi and my mac to keep me company. There are many things to figure out, like what technology to use? Will it be PHP or .NET, if it’s PHP what framework will we use? CakePHP? the Zend Framework now in RC1 with it’s built in API wrappers for Amazon, LastFM, del.icio.us, Flickr, Yahoo and Google, will we build something with a massive and amazing front end using jQuery and Interface with a little bit of magic in between, or will we do something really tangible and passive and do something with my Nokia N95 and some crazy GPS positioning, oh the list goes on. All I know is that at the end of it all we get a massive concert to watch!
