Are Computers Fucking With Our Memories?

How many of us have pieces of technology that we rely on? Blackberry, Mobile Phone, iPod, Tom Tom? What happened to checking your email at work or when you get home, using a house or a public telephone, talking to people and using a map! Is technology blurring the line between work and play?

Can you honestly remember more that 2 or 3 mobile phone numbers if you own a mobile phone, I mean why should you, it’s all there in your little device, easily accessible, a push of a button gives you your mum or sister’s mobile phone number, easy isn’t it. But what do you do when you forget your mobile phone some where or you loose it, the first thing most people do is panic, the second thing people do is to create a facebook group about it… WHY!?, it’s like some sort of comfort blanket that we all have, an extension of our memory. What would we possibly do with out it? We’d all be fucked.
